We slept in because our beds were so nice. Then we randomly decided to go to Pompeii for a visit of the ruins of the old city. We took a very sketchy train there, but the ride wasn't long, thankfully. There were solicitors everywhere when we got off the train. They got annoying quickly so we walked down the street closer to the actual town and grabbed some lunch at a place that had quite a few people at it. We had a guy sing Italian songs to us and serenade us with his guitar. Then we went to Pompeii, the city of ruins. It was a huge city! We walked for around 3 hours and could have walked around it for a couple more. Eventually we found the mummified bodies. It was very sad looking at them and thinking they were actually trying to escape the ash. On the way out we randomly bumped into a group of ladies that sounded like us. Ally had asked if they wanted her to take their group picture and we ended up asking where they were from, which just happened to be Minnesota! The train ride back to Naples was interesting. A guy kept sitting by one of our friends that is very quiet and shy. He was hitting on her and sitting very close to her and then he would just get up and leave and come back a few minutes later, weird. I gave him the evil eye and watched him the whole time to make sure he did not try anything on her. That night for supper we wanted something that was cheap so we stopped at a local grocery store and bought stuff to make sandwiches. We watched American music videos and play cards again. We also packed up because we wanted to get out of the town right away in the morning!
