We were up early to head back to Rome. We had another good train ride because we got seats in the actual carriage not just sitting in the aisles. Once we were in Rome we walked a long ways to the Pantheon, a temple dedicated to all the ancient Gods of Rome. The Pantheon's dome is still the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome. It was also ready for a ceremony so there was seating set up and the altar was decorated. Ally was not feeling too well so just went to find our hostel in Ciampino, a town on the outskirts of Rome and where the airport we were flying out of was located. The hostel was huge and at first we were the only people there. We walked into town at dusk for some supper, but when we came back there were kids EVERYWHERE! Two coach buses came with loads of kids. That night we made sure we had everything ready for the next day because we had to take into account that it was daylight savings time. We were at the airport plenty early and got on the plane just fine. When we got back in Edinburgh we were freezing! It was so cold here! But it was nice to be back because I had enough adventures for awhile. AND my family was coming the next weekend! :)
